Roll up - Roll up for the Mystery Tour!
I'm not a druggy, really I'm not!

January 27, 2001 (3 days until Mike's birthday!)
Haha, I guess I've been neglecting my little webpage here . . . That's okay, I'll add some more links and stuff.  Maybe I'll do the whole thing over.  Nah, I'm just going to figure out the clarinet page.  I don't think anyone is coming to this page anymore anyway, so I guess I can just concentrate on the clarinet one, soon to be right here.

Okay, my site has a really bad layout right now, but the stuff on the side *might* help, at least when I get more links in.  I think it will just get in the way right now.

Newest Links!
Neopets - Neato!  You can raise virtual pets, play some really cool games, and . . . well, I guess you'd have to go there.  I love this site!  If you sign up through this link, I'll get NeoPoints and other stuff, so please sign up!  Please?

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Kristin's Inscrutable Drivel - I wish I could write, darn it.
My boyfriend's page ^_^
SecretAdmirer.com - The Electronic Cupid!  I've certainly never used this site, but it's still a really cool idea!
Tests, test, tests... - IQ tests, personality tests, sexuality tests (yeah, I think we've all seen or heard about the purity test), relationship tests, health tests . . . umm, tests.

E-cards
1001*postcards.org - Oooh, it even has Beatles cards! ^_^
Create a Free Electronic Greeting Card!!!
123greetings

Online $tores
T-shirt King - It really does have the best t-shirts in the world!  Nature shirts, music shirts, anime shirts, sports shirts, even some hats . . .

Online Comics
Dilbert - Ahh, everyone's favorite engineer . . .
Sluggy Freelance - Believe the niftiness.
Penny Arcade - If you love video games or the word "wang", then this is the comic for you!
Rhymes with Orange - Fresh & Pulpy
Ballard Street - This is one of those weird "Far Side"-like comics.
Strange Brew - It has nothing to do with Cream or Eric Clapton!  It's another comic like "Ballard Street" and "Rhymes with Orange".
MegaTokyo - I haven't really had a chance to read this one, but it's a bit manga-ish (the art, not the comic).

Online Games
Shockwave - You can play a bunch of games online.  Gotta download Macromedia Shockwave, though.
Uproar - A different kind of gaming site.  Bunch of trivia stuff.  The best thing, however, is definitely Family Feud!
TetriNET - This is a really fun game!  It's like Tetris, only there are a bunch of special blocks, and you play online against other people.  This is where you download the program for it.
Tetrifast - This makes playing TetriNET a bit faster by greatly reducing the drop delay.  You just add it to your TetriNET directory, so you do need to get the real game.

Emulation
EmUniverse - This is a good site for downloading just emulators (no roms).  The only bad thing about this site is the grammar.
Tobbe's NES roms - This has a LOT of NES roms, but they aren't divided into game categories.  They're in alphabetical order and have no descriptions, so you probably shouldn't go here unless you know exactly what you're looking for.

Web Page Add-Ons and HTML Help
AddFreeCounter - This has some fairly good looking counters, and is where mine came from.
BoingDragon - This site used to have some really, really nice animated counters, but ever since the entire site was redone, I haven't been able to figure out how to get one on my page.
ColorMaker - Now, I have no idea why this is at Bagism.com, but I'm really glad it was!  Anyway, you just pick the colors you want for your text and links, and it gives you the body tag for your page.
html tutorials - I haven't looked at this site much, but it seems to be a good one.  Only the first 21 lessons are free, but the cover a lot of things like color codes, frames, tables, and an introduction to Java.

AOL
Yeah, I know AOL can suck sometimes, but there really are a lot of good things about it.  You might as well skip this section if you don't have it, though.
The Ultimate AOL Profile Site - Have you seen those colorful AOL profiles?  This site shows you how to change colors, fonts, fields, and all sorts of things in yours.

Dancing Pages
I have a few of these, but I can't seem to find them.

Music
Santana - The official site! Oooh, click the "Music On" icon when you get there! It plays several Real Audio files! And one of them is Bella!!!! That's one of the prettiest songs . . . but they don't play Sampa Pa Ti. I was very disappointed. But that's ok, I've heard it a million times. What would really disappoint me is if I went to go see Santana in concert and he didn't show up . . . like what happened to my dad when he went to see them in Memphis on March 21, 1973 . . . noooo, his brother had to take his place . . . ohh, if that happened to me, I would be so bitter . . . ::sigh:: Carlos is the coolest! But anyway, enough of that.

Marching Band
Fred J. Miller, Inc. - This company sells band and guard uniforms and accessories.  They're fun to look at (especially the flags), and you can order a free catalog.

College (scholarships, applying, etc.)

School
PinkMonkey.com - Nifty school stuff.  ACT and SAT prep stuff, practice AP tests, MonkeyNotes (like Cliff's Notes) and online books, study tips, and cool things like that.  It's free, but you have to sign up for it.

Girly Stuff
Ebubbles.com - Well, all sorts of bath stuff . . .
Cover Girl

Sailor Moon
Of course I like Sailor Moon!  That's why I have that picture of Rei at the top!
SailorMoon.org - This has the coolest gallery, and is where all of my Sailor Moon images come from, including the one on this page.
Silent Destiny - A shrine to Hotaru/Sailor Saturn/Mistress 9.  This is the only shrine that I have really taken the time to look at, and I think that it's a very good one.  It is where I got her theme song.
Cosmic Moon - This is a good-looking site, but it takes forever to load each page.

The Simpsons
The Simpsons - The official site at FOX.com.
Springfield Nuclear Power Plant - In my opinion, this is the best Simpsons site ever.  There are so many cool lists, including a "Yoink" list.

Gross stuff
All Things Dark and Gruesome - Some of this is really sick, but I'm still putting it here.  If you're easily grossed out, don't go to the Malady of Month section, and especially not the one about syphilis.  The Morbid Fact du Jour isn't that bad, though, since there aren't any pictures.
The POOPIE List - This isn't as gross as it is funny.  Of course, I'm easily amused and find the word "poopie" hilarious.

Well, I have been trying to make a really nice shrine to Luna, one of the cats from Sailor Moon, but I'm having a bit of trouble with it.

At least I'm trying to finish this.  Heh, yeah, instead of my homework.
December 4, 2000 (17 more days 'til I get to see Mike!)
Whew, I was at OCU taking an engineering test from about 9 to 12:30 today.  It was really scary!  If I had the chance to do it next year, I would say that it was cool and that I just needed some more practice, but since I can't, I'm just going to say that I'm very glad I'll never have to do it again.  (Well, I won't have to do anything like it again until college . . .)  It was supposed to be done it teams, too!!  Yeah, but we didn't work together.  Oh well.  All-State tryouts were last Saturday, too.  It wasn't quite as scary, but it was really close.  I made it to finals, at least!  Ohhhh, but then I went into the finals room and completely screwed up everything.  I didn't get a single note or rhythm right in my sightreading, which made me feel really bad since it was EASY.  I kinda wish I had played like that at prelims, so I would've known five (yes, FIVE) hours earlier that I could just go home and it wouldn't matter.  Or shopping!!  I was supposed to go shopping that day, because I just assumed that I wasn't going to make it to finals!!  Grr!

Yeah, so I haven't updated this in a long time.  Oh well, get over it!  How many times do I have to tell you that I'm lazy?  Anyhoo, I'm having trouble typing right now with this bandage on my finger.  Now let's see, what has happened in the past three weeks . . . ?  Wow, a lot.  OBA . . . umm, yeah, that.  Anything I want to talk about?  I made CODA!  Yes, thirteenth chair in the symphonic band!  That was . . . the Saturday after OBA, and the day before that, I went to OU for their Engineering Day, took their math test, and got first place!  Yay.  And last Friday, I went to OU for a Women's Engineering Day, which was pretty cool.  We had to stick people to the wall with duct tape.  I also decided to do Electrical and Computer Engineering at OU.  But anyway, as soon as I came back, I went to OU with the band for a basketball game, and I did that again the next night.  We filled in for the Pride!!!!  It was great, and now I have "Boomer Sooner" and "Oklahoma" both memorized! =)  I'm going back to OU this Saturday, too, for National Scholar's Day, and hopefully I'll get those free tickets to the OU-Texas Tech game.  Anyway . . . what am I forgetting?  Ahh, too much stuff!!  Can't . . . remember . . . Oh yeah, duh!  My birthday was yesterday!  I am now 17!!

Wow, today was OSSAA at Lawton, AND my parents' 24th anniversary.  My first shock today was realizing that my parents have been able to stand each other for 24 years.  (Believe me, I couldn't live with either of them for that long).  My second shock, of course, was that we made straight 1's at contest, and I know that I'm not the only one who was amazed.  Oh well, the people on "Ricki Lake" are stupid, and I know who my omega is (thanks to the pen she wrote her note in), so I'm going to bed.

Yes, my page is up now!  I still have a lot of work to do, but I swear that it WILL get done soon!  Sooner Saturday went fairly well, except that I no longer want to stay in the honors dorms.  I might as well live in my bathroom.  No, maybe a closet.  Anyhoo, Lawton is two days from now, and OBA is Saturday.  Isn't it a shame that I have to end my last marching season with this?  And then there's C.O.D.A./All-State tryouts the next Saturday, for which I am nowhere near being prepared.  I don't have any good reeds, and my wood horn won't play.  That, plus I suck.  Oh well, I need to make a ping-pong ball launcher from a mousetrap before that Friday for the OU Engineering Fair.  Haha, and this Wednesday I have to buy a bunch of stuff for my Omega, since that's the only day I'll have both the time and money . . . ha . . . I'm not going crazy.  Really I'm not.
